Professional Background
I am currently a practicing teacher with School District 22 in Vernon, BC. I have a Bachelor of Education, a Post-graduate diploma in Inclusive Education, and a Certificate in Animal Assisted Wellness . I am currently completing my Masters Degree in Reading Development and Instruction through Memorial University. I have and continue to do professional development workshops with a focus on trauma informed practice, self regulation and mindfulness. I have obtained a yoga teaching certificate as well as participated in various programs/retreats on mindfulness and meditation. I also work with other qualified professionals in the community based on the needs of our clients and the programs we develop.

Tia is a passionate educator with a love for working with both children and animals. She is currently practicing as an Education Assistant with School District 22 and has her Community Herbalist Certification from Pacific Rim College.
